Part I
My name is Truth.
You can't hide from me.
I will catch you.
You are mine.
Part II
My name is Truth.
Most people try to escape me, hide from me,
so I am starting to develop an insecurity that I am ugly.
Am I?
Please look at me and tell me if I am ugly.
Please tell me the truth.
Mirrors? Haha.
Mirrors show not me, but the reflection of others' thoughts,
through my mind, back to my eyes,
so I can't trust it.
Although, some people are even searching for me,
and when they find me,
they say that I am the most beautiful thing they have ever seen,
but there are only a few of them,
and they usually run away pretty soon.
I am very confused now, and I am deciding to just be.
I can't fix anyone. No, I can't.
Part III
My name is Truth.
One day, I walked by the bank of the lake,
and a handsome young man came to me.
He looked deep into my eye.
He fell on his knees and embraced me tightly.
He weeped.
He said I looked like him when he was a kid.
And frankly... I didn't know how to take it.
I didn't think I was that young, so I gave up on thinking.
I can't make up my mind on who I am, or what I am,
or how old I am based on others' words...
but often that's all I have.
I am timeless, everything, everyone, and nothing all at once.
I am just me, whole. And I just be.
Epilogue
I want to be more social, though.
Please stop hiding from me, people.
I miss you so much.
